The Role
The internship definitely outperformed my expectations. I learnt a lot every single day and communicated with great people. The internship is quite intense and you need to work reall hard, but that was what I really wanted and even more.
I have been given real responsibilities from the very first day. After couple of weeks I have become a person of contact for many worlflows. People and atmosphere were really great.
Guidance was not often available. Colleagues are extremely busy and they rely on you in a number of tasks. So, being able to work with a limited guidance is a must-have, but this is how you learn. Of course, you are never left completey alone and there is always someone to ask if you are totally lost. But independence, ability to take responsibility and creative thinking are really valuable qualilities during the internship.
As already mentioned, you are given real responsibility from day 1 and the amount of time you spend in the office directly depends on how intelligent/efficient/responsible you are. However there is a close to perfect allocation of tasks and responsibilities. In other words, some days/weeks may be very busy and you may have to stay very long hours, but you always do it together with your colleagues. And the feeling that you are an integral part of the team is wonderful.
As have been already said - a lot! And this is one of the best things in the internship - this is how you learn!
This is definitely the lifetime experience in terms of personal and professional development. After the internship, University studies do neet look a serious issue at all.
The Company
People are really great: mostly young, very intelligent, very professional, strive to constant development and always ready to have fun! You learn a lot just from communicating with others!
I had everything from an analyst tool pack. and Everything was arranged during frst couple of days. Working in the office has been very comfortable.
You really feel that you are a valuable asset for the Company and that the Company really wants you to grow and develop. You can take this from many perspectives: from numerous trainings to various benefits of staying and working long hours.

Company Parties/Events
Future prospects are very appealing. After completing a Summer Internship I really want to start my career here.
The Culture
Atmosphere in the office is very informal, so people have discussions on non-banking topics everyday - no barriers at all.
My internship was in Moscow and comparing to other big cities, like London or New York, Moscow is definitely cheaper. Though the costs are still significant, especially rent.
Moscow is a huge city with 13 million popelation, and of course it never sleeps. Therefore, you can do everything that you can only imagine, and this does not depend on whether it is day or night.
Yes, there are countless opportunities, but you often do not ave time for anything else. But of course, it depends on how good you are at time management and prioritising.
