The Role
It was a great experience working around a great team. Got a thorough understanding of the business processes and industry knowledge.
I was frequently involved in discussions pertaining live matters, and co ordinated with people from different offices (Mumbai and Dubai) regarding different matters,
I've completed my degree studies, but I got a good practical experience to implement my theoretical knowledge.
The Company
Friendly and relaxed. Everyone was busy with their work most of the times, but no one was reluctant to help, or to advice on who could help
Good. During the interview I was given a clear idea of what I was required to do as an intern. When I started my internship, I was given proper guidance on my deliverables and was given relevant reading material to familiarize me with the industry.
After completing my project, I was asked to go through some more material which would give me an even wider picture about the industry as a whole, and also about the various clients that Citi deals with. This contributed greatly towards my personal development. My team also spent considerable time with me to take me through the various product groups, and was really invested in my development.
Very appealing. I'm really looking forward to start a full-time career at Citi.
The Culture
Yes. There was the opportunity to do volunteer work, where all the interns got together to build bicycles that would be donated to underprivileged children.
