The Role
Best way to spend a summer!
Everyone I worked with saw the potential of me working int he team with them, hence very valued
MY manager always ensured I understood what do I need to do and answered my questions, as well as educated about other roles by allowing me to meet employees across the divisions
Sometimes you have to do 3 things at once, sometimes it si very calm
Everyone expects to use your results in their further work without a thorough check
Many skills I acquired can only be found in certain circumstances like finance industry.
The Company
Literally fun never stopped
A project a week was a bit shallow but otherwise everything was spot on
You are almost astonished at the amount of time and money the company invests in you during your 10 months
Company Parties/Events
Have no idead at this point
The Culture
A few of them were competitive and overly arrogant about themselves, people were ready to network all the time even if it was not the place and looked inappropriate
The City of London has never been known as the cheap place, however senir colleagues will usually pay for your drinks
Good, but you usually spend nights sleeping
With hours as intense, not many, couldn't play sports with my friends as usual
