The Role
The work was enjoyable and the employees very approachable
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility and trusted with using the internal computer system. I felt that I was helping rather than hindering the people I was working for.
My supervisors were extremely approachable and gave me interesting work
At some points I was extremely busy, at other less so. However we were given an ongoing research task to undertake when there was little work to do, so I was never bored.
I was entrusted with sending letters and emails to clients (my work was always checked first obviously).
I have a greater insight into what is required to be a city solicitor.
The Company
Social, but busy.
Socials were organised and there was always something to do. We had talks almost every day.
This is essentially a two week interview.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Hard to tell
The Culture
The employees are in general very busy, but when they have time they are very social. My fellow placement students were reasonably social.
Expensive, its London.
I didn't experience much nightlife, but there are plenty of bars around the area.
I played cricket twice and there were socials organised after work.
