The Role
Really enjoyed it, particularly because my team was excellent to work with. Employees all around are very friendly and willing to help.
People always gave me credit if I did a good job. They also take your work seriously.
Everyone was very willing to give me advice and guidance
varied but generally quite busy
I want to pursue a career in the Private Bank so my front office internship will be incredibly helpful in the future
The Company
People are quite busy but there is a good social side
Internship itself could have been organised better - too many talks were scheduled towards the end which started to eat into my time to do work
Great exposure to areas outside of the team I was placed in
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
Worked in Canary wharf so it was quite expensive
Good social scene
Yes, Barclays has many societies and clubs to join and be able to meet other colleagues
