The Role
On the whole, really interesting and had a very enjoyable time
All the team were extremely welcoming and gave useful feedback, both positive and negative which allowed me to improve my work.
Everyone in the team was extremely helpful and more than happy to help and answer questions.
The project went through a relatively slow period for some of the time when we were there so there were days when we didn't have any assigned work to do.
I felt the right amount was given, anymore less and I would have felt that the work I was doing was not beneficial to the company.
Working in an office of that size and in a team of people that I had never met are extremely valuable skills to learn as early as possible. The analytical skills from the project are also useful for my proposed dissertation this coming year.
The Company
Really welcoming and friendly
Everything was prepared for us when we arrived and there was work for us to do, until the project hit a slow period but that was unforeseen.
There were loads of workshops that were on offer for us to attend and the skills sessions in preparation for the partner interview were extremely useful!
Subsidised Canteen
Have been offered a job for next year!
The Culture
Yes - there were many functions organised by both KPMG but also by the other interns as well
Easy to find a place that covers different budgets
n/a
Yes there were always opportunities offered by both KPMG and also ones organised by the interns
