About You
I was very excited to learn more about KPMG and meet all of those wonderful people. Definitely one the experiences I enjoyed a lot and I would recommend this programme to anyone who is interested in Finance.
Everyone was super friendly. I loved the atmosphere. I saw the enthusiasm in KPMG employees' faces and I generally felt that they enjoy having us there. I definitely felt valued and I enjoyed every minute I spent during the insight.
I would not say that I received a lot of support or guidance but neither that I needed any of it. Everything was crystal clear and well organised, therefore, I did not find myself confused at any time during the insight.
I am absolutely sure that I will never use the skills or knowledge I received during the insight in my academic life, however, it will be extremely useful whenever I will be looking for job opportunities or internships.
The Company
Everything was well structured and organised. Basically, it was perfectly structured. However, I would say that there could be more networking opportunities or interactive sessions as I feel that they would be more useful than presentations.
Perfect! Everybody was extremely motivated. I met lots of new and interesting people there. It was definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had. I enjoyed every single bit of the programme and I would recommend it to anyone.
I feel that there could have been more interactive sessions or networking opportunities. Presentations are great but they are not as helpful or interesting as actual opportunities to meet new people and learning from their experience.
It definitely helped to learn more about the roles and understand what every single service line of KPMG does. However, I cannot imagine how one can understand what would be like to have a full time role with the company just by speaking to a person.
The values were extremely well presented and I understood them well. Basically, a huge part of the insight was focused on presenting and translating the values of KPMG to the participants. I believe they done well.
I think it was quite helpful. Definitely understood every single aspect of the services lines. Some of them were confusing but all of the speakers were very helpful and friendly. I have nothing to add. 10 points out of 10.
Everything Else
Yes. There was a networking session organised after the first day of the insight and I was fascinated that the firm actually invited quite a lot of employees from other offices. But I think that a single event is not enough and there should be more opportunities for networking.
The networking event was good. The people who participated we were interesting and were keen to share their experiences with us. There were also snacks and drinks and the event was well organised but as I mentioned before, a single event is not enough.
Yes, I did but I am not quite sure whether it is due to the fact that I worked as a brand ambassador or that I attended the insight programme. But one way or another, I received quite a lot of information about it.
Yes, I would! A very good experience to anyone who is interested in finance or wants to find out more about it. Well structured and organised, definitely worth attending and spending a couple of days learning more.
