The Role
I enjoyed my internship very much. It was a very hard work but we had fun throughout which made it even more enjoyable.
I
I was given support throughout the whole internship: regular one to ones and catch ups with my managers and the people I was working with.
I was fairly busy, some days we had a lot to do but it was very enjoyable and they give you support and help if you get stuck with anything
I was given a lot of responsibilities from the first day I started which made it more exciting.
Thanks to this position, I managed to get a fill time position, with another charity.
The Company
The atmosphere was very friendly and we had fun all the time. It was very professional as well but it didn`t make you feel uncomfortable or out of place.
The placement was very well organized, I can tell why it is ranked so high.
Cancer Research UK invests a lot in their interns by providing a constant support and mentor scheme for everyone.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Travel loan
The future employment prospects were very appealing as there are opportunities coming up all the time.
The Culture
We were about 47 interns that got together all the time during lunch breaks and almost every thursday after work.
The lunch allowance and travel covered everything.
The Angel area is amazing as it provides you with countless pubs and restaurants where teams can go and socialize.
There were activities coming up all the time that allowed you to get involved with networking and other events.
