The Role
It was great! All managers listened to what I wanted to do and always gave me an opportunity to try & learn new things.
Everyone was very supportive and nice.
I always new that I can talk with my manager and I will be heared. Every question I asked was answered.
Had some late evenings and weekends at work. However, it might be due to my enthusiam and setting myself unrealistic deadlines. 3M has a flexi time system which gives you a chance to plan your own working hours.
The level of responsibility was groving gradually with peaks in the second half of my placement. I think it is amazing system because it first gives you a chance to learn by participating and then by organising everything yourself.
Digital marketing knowledge, presentation skills, event organising experience and time management skills will definately assist me in my degree.
The Company
3M has very friendly and laid back working culture.
3M definately knows what they are doing with placement students.
As placement student I received a lot of training participated in many events and exhibitions.
Flexi Time

Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
Everything depends on the amount of places company has for graduates next year.
The Culture
Had many great team do`s. There were many opportunities to socialise and go out with fellow students or colleagues. I just wasn`t the fan of going out on Thursday nights that is why it is just 7 out of 10!
There is nothing in Bracknell. However, Reading and London are not to far. However, London is quite expensive.
Again, nothing in Bracknell. But great nightlife in Reading and London.
Yes, 3M has many sport/interest clubs etc. I had my own acitivies outside of work, so didn`t have enough time to join 3M ones as well.
