The Role
A very interesting internship which has given many insights into what audit is.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Everyone was always willing to help if I had a problem.
Sometimes I had nothing to due after completion of my scheduled workload. However more than often my colleagues would detail me extra work when I ask.
I felt that appropriate responsibility was given to me
My degree is statistically based whereas the internship is accountancy based, hence in my case it was not very helpful to my studies
The Company
Very friendly and relaxing
Not very well organised but there were no major problems that arose.
No formal training was really given; it was somewhat expected that you learn from your job and that your supervisor would teach you appropriately. Which to be honest is a good way to learn and all my supervisors I have had were very helpful and more than obliged to teach me.

If you performed reasonable well in your internship you are given the opportunity to advance into the graduate scheme after a partner interview.
The Culture
Due to my internship placement in audit I was mostly in client sites for the duration of my time there. Hence there was not really an opportunity to socialise after work.

Not really due to logistical problems of the team being on a client site.
