The Role
The company were extremely helpful in developing me personally. I have been given much responsibility in the role and would not change this placement for anything.
Everyone is always polite and friendly, and made me feel very welcome when I initially started.
I was given full support from my team and especially my direct upervisor and the placement student I was replacing.
Always had work to do, stressful at times but what job isnt?
I was given full responsibility of looking after the 3M Health Care websites, in terms of development and updating etc.
The role was spot of for the course I am studying at uni, IT management and business.
The Company
Worked in an open plan office, always people around making for a nice atmosphere
Even had a Student Development Programme in place to further develop my skills. Any training I needed was supplied and if I wanted to go on any courses and company would be more than willing if you had a case for it.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Already secured a job 1 day a week at uni and grad programme on return
The Culture
As we are up north it was much cheaper.
As Loughborough Uni is in the town, there is much to do.
Lots of Social activities going on, such as Rounders Tournoment, awards ceremonies etc
