The Role
Really enjoyed the overall experience, great place to work and I have learnt a lot. Also like the fact that there are a lot of other students doing placements here.
Everyone in the team was very welcoming right from the onset and easy to talk to if you have any queries with anything. Not treated just as a student which helps make you feel like you fit in and also means you are given real work and responsibility from colleagues.
Given real work and therefore real responsibility during my placement year.
The skills I have learnt here will be useful to apply to my degree studies next year and I think they will really help me in the future as I develop my career. These vary from training courses such as Lean Six Sigma to learning to meet deadlines and working well under pressure.
The Company
Great atmosphere in the office, particularly on Friday's where we dress down and order in breakfast. Everyone is friendly and easy to talk to which makes a great difference to the working environment.
Subsidised Canteen

The Culture
Great student community, around 60 students on the uxbridge site.
As you are on the outskirts of London socialising can be expensive, particularly if you are going into central.
A lot of restaurants to go to and some bars, only one club so mostly travelled further if we were going out for the night.
Some students joined sports teams such as football, hockey and rugby.
