The Role
I was positively challenged and engaged during my internship.
I felt highly valued by my collegues as I was involved in supporting tasks on a daily basis. This showed the trust and accomodation that was extended to me.
I was given a significant amount of support by managment and supervisors. They were highly approachable.
There was a very good balance between work, interactions and attending events on a daily basis.
I was placed in one Trading and one Salestrading role. I majored in supporting the whole team to have information they needed.
Skills learned (technical and soft) will assist me to a great extent at school especially for my final thesis and thesis defense before a panel.
The Company
The atmosphere was engaging and filled with a lot of learning opportunities. People were very approachable and we enjoyed the work.
Very organised. It incorporated all that an intern needed to learn about the real world working life and I think that this was good to help in decision making.
The company made a huge amount of investment from weekly short technical skill trainings to a two week long Pre-internship training on products.
