  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was positively challenged and engaged during my internship.

  • I felt highly valued by my collegues as I was involved in supporting tasks on a daily basis. This showed the trust and accomodation that was extended to me.

  • I was given a significant amount of support by managment and supervisors. They were highly approachable.

  • There was a very good balance between work, interactions and attending events on a daily basis.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was placed in one Trading and one Salestrading role. I majored in supporting the whole team to have information they needed.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Skills learned (technical and soft) will assist me to a great extent at school especially for my final thesis and thesis defense before a panel.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was engaging and filled with a lot of learning opportunities. People were very approachable and we enjoyed the work.

  • Very organised. It incorporated all that an intern needed to learn about the real world working life and I think that this was good to help in decision making.

  • The company made a huge amount of investment from weekly short technical skill trainings to a two week long Pre-internship training on products.
