The Role
I had responibilites and a real job! However, I still was considered a student.
the team trusted me with raising purchase orders and invoicing. However, I sometimes was given jobs considered for 'the student;
I was mentored and given guidance for areas that I was least confident in.
During busy periods i would need to juggle multiple projects and sometimes work late.
The team and managing directors gave the students much responsiblity.
The brand training and invoicing system in a blue-chip company gave me the knowledge to help me in the future.
The Company
Great atmosphere, everyone is friendly and happy to help you.
The only area that was unorganised was the HR induction and information given.
I was given as much training as could be given to a student.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would come back to the company if they offered it me but I feel that they would not expand my skills enough.
The Culture
with 70 students at Xerox.. you cant get a better social scene!
It is expensive to live near London.
There isn't much to do here but the tube into london is a 5minute walk.
The social scene was good but due to the high living costs it is hard to afford.
