The Role
I really enjoyed my placement as it was exactly what I thought it was going to be and more. The company and staff were brilliant, ensuring that I was able to progress and develop through my short time within the company.
I felt extremely valued by my colleagues as everyone I was working with was relatively new within their roles as well so we worked together as a team. Everyone was always there to help and open to an y new ideas that I have.
Support and guidance were always there whenever you need them so you were never left on your own and awkwardly trying to solve any problem especially under pressuring circumstances in front of any customers.
On a day to day basis we are normally extremely busy, either with long pickups or busy with customers that need dealing with to any admin responsibilities that you may have been assigned to do.
During my placement I was given quite a bit of responsibility from dealing with customers and managing their contracts to driving expensive cars so a lot of trust and responsibility was placed upon my shoulders which was a nice thing to have.
I have learnt some essential skills which I believe will benefit my future very well, from university study and day to day life. I will continue to build and build on what I have learnt.
The Company
The general office atmosphere has always been a comfortable environment to work within which makes it more enjoyable to come to work.
The internship set up was well set up and thorough in its entirety and I felt extremely valued within the company which I really liked.
I felt my assistant and branch manager both invested valuable time into my development which I found nice to see.
Above 25 days holiday
I feel that the future prospects are really bright and I defiantly will be applying once I graduate Uni and will be advising others to do so as well.
The Culture
Yes, a couple of my work colleagues have just finished uni so we had a good bond as we were on the same level which I thought was good.
The cost of living isn't too high, however there isn't many places to spend your money if you wanted to. But generally not too bad.
Nightlife wasn't exactly thrilling, however we always had the option to travel slightly further to have a better night out.
There are not many opportunities to get involved in much outside of work in the area, however there are still some activities you can
