The Role
I really enjoyed the 10 weeks I spent at lloyds. It was a great insight into the company.
I felt like my opinion was taken on board as if I was a permanent employee. I was given responsibility and I felt my opinion was valued.
My manager was incredibly supportive. I have weekly 121's and in-between this time I felt more than happy too approach him for support.
Some days were busier than others. However this meant I could take on different types of work giving me a wider experience.
I never felt undermined by my manager or the rest of the team. They made me feel like part of the team with just as much responsibility and that I was trusted.
My degree is quite different to my internship but this was freely my choice. I think the internship will definitely help me in later life.
The Company
It was very welcoming and friendly. I even enjoyed going into work - everyone was lovely.
My manager was very organised beforehand with a schedule and all the equipment I needed.
Shadowing in other departments was constantly offered to me as well as being involved in ten activities. I felt like the company were investing in me.

Working from home
I would definitely like a job working for LBG later in life. The internship was excellent.
The Culture
The social side of things were great. The interns living away from home were put into accommodation together and the charity challenge helped a lot.
I was based in Leeds - as LBG paid for the accommodation that wasn't a problem. Restaurants and bars were reasonably priced.
The nightlife is great in Leeds because there's so much variety. Living with other interns only imoroved this.
I was welcomed in taking a part in a day to make a different which was great. I was also invited to team night outs.
