The Role
The work was very varied. I had a lot of support. The work set was altered according to my capabilities.
Everyone was super friendly and lovely so I would give them a ten but I am incredibly shy so creating that bond with difficult.
My line manager was great! Super suportive and understanding.
Some days were slower than others but on average it was near perfect.
I was given quite a bit but I know of other interns that had a ridiculous amounts or responsibility.
I learnt so much.
The Company
Good. Everyone was friendly, positive and chatty as well as working hard but due to the flexible work hours the office sometimes felt a bit empty.
It was organised quite well and my line manager filled in the rest.
The induction was very expensive and the time that people put in me was a lot but we did not have an end of placement event which would have been nice.
Super appealing but they didn't take people with a 2:2 even if they did really well but they took everyone else, no matter how rubbish they were at their job.
The Culture
Nope.
I have always lived in London so I am used to london prices but it's so much more expensive than everywhere else. The London allowance should be more as travel cost me a small fortune. Perhaps a travel card could be provided by the company.
As I worked in London but lived in the suburbs I couldn't get back home easily. Also, the interns didn't socialise together, I did not live in the provoided accomodation but apparently even that was dead.
No, except for charity cahllenge events.
