The Role
Sometimes really enjoyed it. A lot felt directionless
Some colleagues were veyr resistant & unresponsive. Didn't seem to have time for an intern. Others were very welcoming and ecnouraging.
manager very busy so little supervision and struggled to get meeting time with manager
Often bored and lacking tasks or people unresponsive so I couldn't fill my time.
Given responsibility on some tasks but very little direction or help. Little feedback and largely self-directed but this was unclear at the start.
More confidence as had to actively go out and seek tasks, ask people for help and things to do.
The Company
the general atmosphere in the office was fairly quiet. occasionalyl felt a warm buzz but people kept largely to themselves. There were a couple of social events and a champagne donut break at lunch for half year results
Not very well. there seemed to be general guidance available but manager was very busy and didn'tn nreally have time to read it all. a big disparity between everyone's placements and the structure
Would consider if offered a job!
The Culture
Amongst students and interns a good social scene. Not amongst colleague
Relatively expensive, but not too bad
Good
No.
