The Role
I have gained fantastic experience with SAP & SQL, I have also learnt alot about general business & how to work in a real working environment.
I am always willing to help & I always do tasks that I am set. In times when we had low staff shortages due to holidays/sickness I stepped up to the mark & worked very hard in order to meet deadlines.
Whenever I was stuck/Had a query or a problem I was always helped out by my team manager or line manager. This was very helpful that they were approachble enough for me to feel comfortable enough to do this when I first started.
Some days (very odd occasions) there is not much to do, other days we have a steady amount of work, & some days we are rushed off our feet dealing with requests from people, especially when dealing with the footwear in SAP.
On occasion I have been the only one in the office on my team, E.g. round christmas & recently where I have had to take responsibility & do a great amount of work for Thailand, China, Holland & Belgium. The work I did for China & Thailand was to basically move all the stocks/materials ifnroamtion from one factory.warehouse to another. This was a long strenuous task that took ltos fo time & effort.
I have developed so many skills, more skills than I initially though I would do. I have developed SQL skilsl to an advanced level & have a very good udnerstand of SAP for the area of that I use it for
The Company
Generally friendly, but sometiems people are very busy.
Just above average, this was because I had no training as such, it was more of a do it & learn as you go along, I think I would have preferred proper induction & training to this area of work as it is quite technical & can be alot to get your head around.
Nothing. I developed my skills by asking questions to other members of my team so I guess you could say I took up their time. But there were no paid courses etc..
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Unsure of this, because sometimes they have got placement students back when they have finished uni, other times the work demand or need was not there so they were not brought back.
The Culture
Strong social scene.
I lived at home so this probably does not apply to me
As above
Not sure what this means? do you mean activities with work colleagues? if so then there was occasional opportunity & I give my rating based on that
