The Role
Everyone was so friendly and the scheme was really organised. I enjoyed the work I was given and we were also taken out on a few socials. A really enjoyable 2 weeks.
Really felt like I was needed, especially in the Banking department where the team were working really hard on deals.
Everyone I came into conatact with were helpful and eager to answer questions.
Busy enough but not overwhelmed by the work I was given. A good balance.
A good balance once again. I was given interesting and important tasks but obviously I was only there for 2 weeks so couldn't be give too much.
I think this experience has made me more aware of commercial issues and how to work in a team environment which I think will be very useful in my future studies and beyond.
The Company
Really relaxed but hard working as well. A perfect mix and everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy each others company.
Really well organised, I have been on other work placements and this was the most organised by far.
Lots of seminars and presentations which were extremely helpful, but only there for 2 weeks so not too much training.
Subsidised Canteen
We are invited to attend an interview and assessment at the end of the scheme.
The Culture
Reall good social scene, organised events and drinks as well.
London is expensive
Some nice bars around Barbican.
We were informed of sports etc.
