The Role
Really enjoyed the two weeks Extremely organised Very insightful] Friendly approachable atmosphere Grad Recruitment always ensured everything was happy and running smoothly Real insight into being a trainee at the firm
Everyone was welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful! Always willing to help and advise with work, interviews etc. Felt part of the team in both departments I worke in.
Supervisors were brilliant - particularly second week! Always giving guidance, work and there for a good coffee.
Most days were busy. Odd occassion where work was low but often to do with not being qualified enough to complete the work. However there was always other things available to fill time e.g. CSR opportunities.
Given alot of responsibility to get on with my work - however work was always checked and feedback generally given to aid improvement.
Experience in the workplace is always key. Gained and improved skills such as communication and able to try out new opportunies such as negotiating.
The Company
Extremely friendly and very nice atmospshere to work in. People all friendly and easy to talk to and generally felt as if I was part of the team.
very well organised to ensure that we got the best out of the two weeks in terms of understanding all aspects of the firm from legal departments to business strategy with exposure to all levels of people including partners. Additionally the social events were a chance for people to get to know one another outside the workplace, which was great.
Gave insight through workshops and seminars but not applicable as such to teh vacation scheme.
Subsidised Canteen
would love the prospect of working for the firm - its reputation, culture and people and development opportunites are key stand out points.
The Culture
Enjoyed everyone's company and the chance to get to know people individually on the social events. Pedi bus was a must do activity!
Tube Pass - relative cost for london travel.
I had the opportunity to attend a CSR afternoon and coffee with my superviors.
