The Role
The internship was very enjoyable, with a range of opportunities to explore different parts of the business through shadowing colleagues in different departments.
With my final project I felt very valued as the presentation and research I conducted is to be considered by the head of my division of the bank, and my suggestions are to be implemented in the future.
My line manager was very supportive, aiding me with any issues I happened to have. We had weekly one to ones which I could raise any problems if I had any.
My project kept me busy when I didn't have a specific workload given to me, so I always had things to do.
Not a great deal as it was only a short placement so there wasn't an opportunity to learn all aspects of the role, however the graduate scheme offers far more as you are given the opportunity to actually specialsie in a role.
Practical office experience gained will help my degree and dissertation significantly.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly.
There was a good structure to the internship, however there were times when my manager did struggle to find things for me to do - this did give me the freedom to arrange extra shadowing out of office by my own accord.
I was given every opportunity to undertake training sessions, which were useful. The graduate scheme also offers many opportunities to develop oneself.

Company Parties/Events
Very. Lloyds invest a lot in their employees and the graduate scheme is very comprehensive, offering 4 different placements over 2 years, where you are given the opportunity to specialize at the end of the scheme.
The Culture
I was not placed in London where the majority of interns are grouped. Therefore I only had 2 other interns in my office.
Reasonable.
N/A
