The Role
Very Interesting and Challenging people
You are given responsibility from day 1
You are allocated a buddy in your team that really helps you in the first weeks
Working hours are not great in IBD, but most of the times the work is interesting
Lots of responsibility, as a first year analyst
Lots of time management skills and technical skills (like valuation, excel, etc)
The Company
Friendly
Very organized, HR was very efficient
We had a first week training to make sure that everyone knew the basics
Subsidised Canteen
Company Car
Subsidised/Company Gym
Although the industry is going through a cost cutting effort, it still looks appealing for people to start their career
The Culture
Yes, the intern class got along very well
London is crazy expensive, so you have to be careful to actually save some money during the intership (even if banking wages are good)
