The Role
Interesting experience, learned a lot of useful skills and had the unique opportunity to network both with graduate analysts and with senior professionals like executive directors or managing directors. We had various social events and community events which were nice.
The fact that I had unique opportunity to network both with graduate analysts and with senior professionals like executive directors or managing directors makes me feel really valued. I wish there were considerably more opportunities to get advice from senior people.
My mentor gave me a lot of useful advice and passed on words of wisdom as to what will be the best next step in my professional career. We discussed whether i should go and study further or start a job in the financial industry straight away. I found this very useful.
I was quite busy with a lot of daily tasks to be done. However, it largely depends on the type of desk you are. For example in the financial markets division, trading teams usually require a lot of concentration during the day and many small ad hoc type of tasks.

Interesting experience, learned a lot of useful skills and the training was very relevant. I wish it was more comprehensive and longer rather than just 2-3 days. Anyway, the desk training that you get by people working in the industry is equally if not more important than academics.
The Company
Very good atmosphere , friendly , competitive, fostering teamwork and at the same time rewarding individual skills and proactive behaviour. I had the chance to work with very experienced professionals which gave me this more mature point of view and broadened my perspectives.
