The Role
I realised that Finance was not for me
My colleagues and team were very welcoming
I joined at a busy time but was well looked after by different functions
At times there was little too do and at others too much. I had a good level of work for about half of the internship
I was given a lot of responsibility, for example i created a pack to prepare people for a call that was sent out to over 100 people. I also chaired a call with a similar amount
Finance allows you to develop your attention to detail as well as Excel skills. I learnt a fair amount i did not know about Excel which will definitely benefit me in the future
The Company
It was a friendly atmosphere most of the time
The internship was not poorly organised but due to it being a busy time of the year I found myself without work at some points
Not muhc but I was only there for 10 weeks
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing but I feel the area I was in does not suit me
The Culture
very good with regular drinks, meals and events taking place
London is very expensive.
Very good
London is renowned for these sorts of opportunities
