The Role
I had an enjoyable internship experience with my team. This boils down to mainly two reasons. Firstly, my team members were extremely pleasant to work with and were very supportive. Secondly, the work that I did was interesting and it was an area I want to delve further into.
I enjoyed working with my colleagues and am glad they trusted me with their work and were willing to teach me when I was either unsure or did the task wrongly.
I received a lot of support from both my line manager and buddy throughout my internship, especially at the start and with the models I have to use. The other members of my team were also very patient and willing to share their knowledge and guide me through.
I was involved in contributing to a pitch book that was to be sent to a client. I also gave a presentation to my team to give them an overview of a sector the team wants to explore further. Hence, I think they were very willing to entrust us with responsibility.

We had a presentation workshop which was useful for our end of internship presentation. Moving on, I think such soft skills would be beneficial for me in the future too.
The Company
Very lively. It is a very sociable team and they joke around quite a bit.
The internship was well organised, with a number of events planned up for us to let the interns either know each other better or find out more about the other business area.
The company spent a lot of effort getting bankers with years of experience to talk to us about their product area. There were several training workshops and HR constantly kept in contact with us to find out what our concerns are and keep track of how we are finding the internship so they can make the experience better.

I believe the organisation has a bright future with so much time and effort being spent to strengthen and streamline the processes.
The Culture
Every Friday, we will head to the bar just below the office and it will be a huge intern gathering together with some of the employers of the bank.
