  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • was fully involved and active. have been given so many opportunities to use different skills and attend launches I have planned.

    • Great manager who was keen to assist with my development and placement program

    • always had something to do, when launches were coming, sometimes more busier than other days.

    • worked alongside manager on UK launches. spoke to journalists and manager and suppliers. sole responsibility for the International launches.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • used microsoft packages and SAP- which will be useful in the future and was covered in modules.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • hard working, few team lunches and meals. always bought birthday presents.

    • Good initial HR contact after applying. Manager fully prepared to help with my university work commitments and essays.

    • didnt attend training courses other than a training for SAP use.

    • There isnt a grad scheme next year so unless there is a job on offer and I have a contact to inform me about it, it is limited chances to get a job. .

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • As there were 20 students also on placement- made a good network, housing and social life.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • paid £330 pm rent for room in 3 bed house Socialising- close to Reading- student town. Taxis.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • nothing in Bracknell. 20 minute taxi ride to Reading.

    • few department meals. christmas party.
