The Role
The training received, social events and quality of work were all very enjoyable.
All work given was directly related to clients and therefore important, all colleagues actively looked to invest in my development.
The 'counselor' system used was extremely effective. I had regular meeting with my counselor, setting targets for the internship and asking for new pieces of work regularly.
Work load varied from day to day, but I was usually kept busy each day and always had background reading I could look at if there was no client work available.
Without any training, I was given as much responsibility as I could have.
The skills learnt will be invaluable when I enter the working world in the future.
The Company
Everyone was very upbeat and positive, there was a very friendly atmosphere at all times.
Overall, the internship was very well organised. There were a few minor social events which could have been organised better, but only a minor point.
The company invested heavily in the interns, from training on the first few days and throughout the whole 6 weeks.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
The starting salary, development opportunities and training are all very appealing.
The Culture
We regularly met up for lunch/drinks after works.
Expensive!
London is very expensive. There are lots of cool bars, but the clubs are not great.
We were encouraged to get involved with EY sport and social clubs. I became a member of hockey, running and triathlon.
