The Role
I enjoyed my time at VWFS, throughout my placement my colleagues were friendly and welcoming.
I received constant recognition for the work I completed throughout the year from both my manager and the wider business.
My manager held regular one to one meetings with me so I was constantly aware of what I was doing well and what my development areas were.
As VWFS is growing at such a fast pace from the start of my placement to the end of my placement I was always very busy.
I felt like I had the right amount of responsibility throughout the year across both my day to day responsibilities and project work.
The professional and practical skills I have obtained will help me greatly upon returning to university.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was great, there was a definite feel that every employee in VWFS is part of one big family.
My placement was well organised.
There are many training courses that are available to all VWFS employees. I was given the opportunity to attend many over the year and I found I learnt a lot from each one.

Future employment prospects are very appealing as VWFS is growing at such a fast rate.
The Culture
Yes, all the undergraduates would meet up regularly for drinks and dinner.
The cost of living and socialising are no more expensive than what you would expect in any other city.
There are plenty of bars in the area but not so many nightclubs.
Yes, VWFS is a very sociable place to work.
