The Role
Fun, and occasionally interesting, but often lacking in things to do.
Everyone made a real effort to treat you as part of the team.
Guidance on tasks was rather lacking, although I think they were encouraging one to think for oneself.
Too many days with very little to do - and given little except reading the FT as a task.
Very little, but this is perhaps understandable given the nature of the work.
Few skills taught that I was not aware of already, and the training could be rather tedious (e.g. how to send an email!).
The Company
Fun and friendly, with lots of chatting and many opportunities to ask questions.
Extremely well organised and ran like clockwork.
A fair amount, but only to the extent required to do the work they required.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Appealing to work for, although the hours might put one off!
The Culture
A lot of entertainment provided by the firm, and when there was nothing organised, the other interns would organise drinks.
London is never cheap...
Very very fun - it's London!
A fair few, but not much other than social drinking.
