The Role
Enjoyed most aspects of the Internship.
Felt relatively valued throughout the internship.
Had a midway review and general support throughout. Probably could've got more if I had asked for/needed it.
Nicely busy, not too stressed.
Ten weeks isn't a great amount of time in order to be trusted with certain work but my project was of value to the team.
The training was definietely useful and has aided my commercial awareness. My networking and time management skills have also been developed.
The Company
The trading floor was usually lively and my particular team were always friendly.
There was no real structure/plan to the work I was given but from HR's perspective, the whole process was smooth and well organised.
The company really do invest a lot of time and effort in the interns, from networking events to training and even a talk with the CEO.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare/Dental
Travel loan
The organisation seem to convert a high number of interns in to full time positions.
The Culture
Over 200 Interns meant there were many opportunitites for drinks and social events etc.
I lived at home but renting in the area is expensive, as is travel and food
London - plenty to do eveery evening.
Played football and rugby with work collegues.
