The Role
It was definitely a very eye opening experience into the banking industry and
I got on with everyone I met on this insight, hard to say if I was valued or not since it was an insight week rather than paid internship.
Whilst shadowing the people I shadowed to plenty of time out of their days to talk to us and answered any questions we had.
Definitely a good balance between work and time off.
This was an insight rather than an internship to no responsibility was given.
They will not really help much in my degree (Natural Science) but will help me in further banking career/internships
The Company
Very good experience of the work place/thoroughly enjoyed it.
Very well for me, each day was set up and timetabled well
They put me up for the week, provided food and drink. Spent two days training and two days of shadowing to see the work place and talk to professionals.
Am seriously considering working with them after graduation.
The Culture
Everyone was pleasant and got to chat with other people my own age from different universities was good.
Hard to say since I was only in for a week.
Only there for a week so I cannot really comment.
