The Role
It was a great experience. The availability, professionalism and passion for the line of business of the employees - amazing.
The Company
I fully enjoyed the friendly atmosphere within the Bank. I am impressed in a very positive way by how available, supportive the Employees of the Bank are.
The 10-week Internship Program was very well-organised. It was structured in a way, that provided interns with everything needed. Before the start of rotations, two trainings were organised. One was an external and the other one was held by the internal employees of the Bank. Both were extremely useful since we all had a chance to deepen our knowledge in certain areas. While during the internship itself, interns had an opportunity to participate in various other events, panel sessions, trading games, networking events, breakfasts/lunches with senior representatives, volunteering events and learning sessions.
Looking back at my summer internship experience with the Bank and considering how well-structured the program was, I believe the Bank invested a lot in it to be as successful as it was.

I am very looking forward to joining the Bank as a full-time employee. It would be a milestone for me to be part of a community, which has its values and pursues them; to work with people, who are passionate about what they do.
The Culture
Yes, in my opinion the environment within the bank was so supportive that it turned to be the same within the intern pool.
The living costs: average monthly rent within walking distance from the office in a student residence stood at 1000 Pounds. Socialising costs: depends on your interests and how often you go out. However, it should be similar to any other area in London.
There is a big variety of different pubs, clubs, so there is something for everyone's taste.
London is a great city to live and work in. There are plenty of things to do and see. The location is especially so central, that one could go for a weekend very easily to any country or just do a day-trip.
