The Role
Can be very stressful at times in the office, but other times was a good overally job.
Yes my colleagues made me feel valued as the work contrubuted towards various systems for the contractor.
Perfect
Days can be very busy at times, but other times the work load is a balanced ammount to keep me busy.
I was allowed to stay in the lab by myself as i was trusted.
Different aspects of this placement has given me a massive boost in different skills. Mathematical, programming, scientific and presentation skills. All of these will greatly support me for my final year of study, and also for my final year disertation. Different aspects of this placement has given me a massive boost in different skills. The Company
Can be very dull sometime in the office as a computer chat was used mostly, however other times chatting to each other was cool.
Wasn't bad however the fact that the placement unit lost my CV in the process, I had to personally go to the research lab to see if they recieved my CV, they didn't. I just re-submitted it, and all was good :)
I had a range of skills, presentation, programming and working in a team. These factors I think influenced them in the employment process.
I could apply for the job after I graduate, many options to choose from at the moment. I think a more specialised job related to my course of study is recommended.
The Culture
Yes, we mainly go out every week for a drink and meal.
Spent my time in student accomodation, worked for me, price was good and my flat mates were nice. Also the location was about 5 min away.
Perfect as it give me a student life as well, as I was working at University.
Practically nothing, however opportunities to go to various conferences.
