The Role
It was interesting and there was enough variety in the tasks so it wasn't repetitive.
I felt like my colleagues thought I was useful and they were very friendly and chatty.
My line manager, Andrew Benjamin, was very helpful and enthusiastic about making sure I enjoyed my placement and was learning as much as I could.
Generally I was very busy but some days were very slow as all the engineers were unavailable to give work or there was no work for us to do.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility, which I felt was a good amount for me to handle.
I have learnt a lot of things that will probably not be covered on my course.
The Company
It was light hearted and everyone was helpful.
It was okay, I would have liked more contact from HR before the placement to get a bit more information about where I was going.
The Culture
It was great fun working with the other students
Exning is low on night life.
