The Role
I very much enjoyed the experience. My team were great and the wider team were very accommodating.
I was immediately taken into the group and made to feel one of the team. They valued my input and gave me real responsibility
I was given guidance when required but I often had to work out issues for myself.
Kept very busy which was good, I felt that I was adding value to the team
I was often given full responsibility of a task and allowed to handle clients by myself.
Whilst the work I was doing is not directly related to my degree, it has given me a sense of how my degree could be applied in a commercial setting.
The Company
My team in general were very friendly and happy to have a laugh with me.
The internship was not well organised to begin with, however things did iron themselves out eventually.
I was able to spend time with people from right across the bank to learn about products.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Lloyds is a great place to work as a graduate.
The Culture
Very good atmosphere amongst the majority of colleagues and interns.
London is expensive, however without accommodation costs to worry about we could spend more on socialising
London has great nightlife.
Several networking opportunities were available during the course of the internship.
