The Role
I very much enjoyed my placement. It was very organised throughout my internship.
I felt as though the work I did was appreciated and noted by all employees I did work for.
We were given a mentor which was usually a graduate, and it was very clear that the HR team were always there if we needed them.
I had a good amount of work and responsibility given to me throughout my time.
I was given a good amount of responsibility, more than I had been given on any other work placement.
I felt that my social skills were developed through the meet and greet lunch as well as team nights out etc. as well as my ability to understand instructions and act on them.
The Company
There was a relaxed atmosphere within the office but all employees demonstrated a good work life balance too.
Very organised, there were departmental talks throughout as well social events such as lunches and rounders.
Due to my small amount of time with the firm they didn't invest in me a lot. But the time taken to talk to me by employees on a day to day basis as well as through the talks was hugely helpful.
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing.
The Culture
Yes both among students and colleagues. We had rounders with fellow interns and a meet and greet lunch with fee earners.
High - But its London so expected.
Good. London has a great nightlife with great bars and pubs.
Not as many as I would have lied. But the interns organised their own events.
