The Role
I very much enjoyed my experince as I was given the support and guidance to really broaden my knowledge and develeop my skills. My colleagues were very friendly and really helped me to settlle in, in the office.
I felt very valued by my colleagues as they gave me a lot of responsiblity at times, and set my challenging tasks. They listened to my opinions and were always happy to help if I needed it.
My colleagues invested time in me, explaining everything to me and answering all my questions. They always supported me in the tasks I was doing and encouraged me to make the most of the internship.
I was set tasks every day by my managers and they would give me more work if I asked for it. The more you put into the internship and push yourself, the more you will get out of it.
I was given a lot of responsibility and this allowed me learn quicker and understand what I was doing this. Although I was given a lot of responsiblity, my colleagues were always there to help me if I had any problems.
I learnt a lot of skills and training which will help me in my studies and my future career. I can see myself using these new skills into practise.
The Company
There was a very good friendly and social atmosphere in the office. Everyone was approachable and talkative. This created a positive atmosphere in which I felt I could talk to anyone to learn more about a career here.
It was very well organised as I was always booked into doing a task. If I ever felt I had free time I was able to ask for more work.
I felt the firm invested a lot of time and money in me. I felt a lot of effort had been put in to make sure I got the best out of this internship.
I am very interested in working here in the future. A very good impression has been made on me.
The Culture
There are many sports teams in the office and socials which allowed to chance to get to know colleagues better outside of the workplace. This really helped me to get along with my aolleagues better.
I commuted from home so there were not any major costs I incurred. Eating out every day for lunch can get expensive so I would recommend brining your own food.
There is a fantastic nightlife here. There are many clubs and bars to go to.
Yes, there was the opportunity to join the many sports teams. I felt we could have been made more aware of this however.
