The Role
Invested in from the start and quickly felt like a valued member of the team
The culture in the company is incredibly welcoming
The best part about PwC is the people manager structure- where you have someone who isn't your line manager in charge of your wellbeing and development. It meant there was always someone to go to if there were any issues or pressures that you might not be comfortable talking about to your team leader
Very. This is a good thing though as it means you learn a lot and can show your worth
A lot. We were given responsibility on live projects from the beginning- no coffee making here. My views were always valued too.
An invaluable experience with a number of skills I'll take forward
The Company
Very friendly and also always able to talk to people without feeling like you were annoying them. Socialising could be better outside of work time.
Very well organised, though I would have liked more say on the projects I was placed on
A huge amount. They held nothing back in terms of invest from the 3 day residential induction at the beginning right the way through.
Huge. Won't find out about job offers until we leave but either way the experience will look great on my CV
The Culture
Partially, but could be much better.
Lots of restaurants and pubs to go to for lunch and after work. Its central london so its not the cheapest place but you also get a higher salary in london so it balances out
You'd likely go more central for nightlife
Lots of activities if you took the initiative to find them, I know one guy got involved with the pwc football team
