The Role
It was brilliant
My colleagues made me feel very welcome and fully involved me in both their workloads and out of work activities.
My mentor and everyone else in the team were very approachable and helpful whenever I had a problem/query.
I was provided with an ideal level of workload. I had enough time to learn about the task I was undertaking as well as being able to complete it to the best of my ability.
I was given a good level of responsibility. I was given tasks to complete independently, however they were always checked and guidance was provided if required.
I gained a good practical insight into the residential property markets. I am sure this will assist me in my final year of studies and upon graduate employment. My internship also increased my awareness of RICS Assessment of Professional Competence, which will be very valuable when undertaking this in the upcoming years.
The Company
Very positive and friendly attitude. Everyone mucked in to get the work done and there was a great work hard play hard attitude, which I feel I aligned with fully.
Pre placement information was great and pointed me in the right direction on my first day. The team secretaries were very well organised and looked after me well throughout the entire placement.
I was invited to APC seminars, which will be a helpful insight in years to come.
I have been offered a graduate position.
The Culture
I went to a few networking events with the team that were great fun.
Cheaper than London.
