About You
It was a great insight in to the job, industry and company. The socials were fantastic, the people were excellent and helped me even when they weren't required to, the support from HR/IT/Admin were second to none, and the other interns were also great.
I definitely felt valued as I was given work that was actually part of their ongoing projects.
Constant support and help. There was an extent where I had to learn by myself or take initiative, but that's not a bad thing.
The skills I received will support me throughout my academic and professional life.
The Company
My insight was quite well structured. I had one afternoon where I had to search for work. However, one other intern spent two days without a proper structure.
The atmosphere was great - everyone was fun and helpful. The whole office felt relaxed and everyone was intelligent.
We had two days of guided induction/training and we were also given e-learning projects. On the job, my teams were very supportive.
Completely. I understand the company far better than I did before as I was put into real projects and wasn't treated any different from graduates.
I got a grip of the culture as soon as I started. There is a huge emphasis on work hard play hard which I experienced.
Everything Else
Socials and internal messaging.
Fantastic, everyone had a great time.
Sports (e.g. cricket), hobbies (e.g. wine tasting), trips (e.g. mountain climbing).
