The Role
There were several social events and the team I got to work with were great mentors and friendly.
Feedback from the team I was with was regular and thorough.
My mentor was happy to meet and chat about my future plans at any time. Feedback was handled informally but effectively and people were happy to correct me, give me advice or praise things I had done successfully.
There were times when there was a lot to do but others when things were quite quiet.
The responsibility I had gradually increased but you need to hunt it out at times.
Not that much use for degree however general consulting skills and knowledge of how the firm operates will be really useful for future job applications and roles.
The Company
It was a very friendly atmosphere. People were always happy to pause and have a coffee and give you advice. It was all hot desks so variation in who was around you each day.
The start was a bit slow and a few delays in communications from the recruitment team but once I got into it it all was very smooth
The individuals on my team went to a lot of effort to ensure I had good information on where I might want to apply and to help me develop my consulting skills. There were several workshops open to anyone to attend and a lot of social events.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I recieved a job offer and I am looking forward to it.
The Culture
At least 2 organised events across interns every week, however colleugues would also hold drinks/meals regularly.
Social events normally were free of charge and drinks and food covered. Living n London is expensive though if you don't already have a house there.
London nightlife was great but I wasn't around at weekends.
There were some sports and social clubs to join however limited access for interns as we are only there temporarily
