The Role
The Internship was a great insight into sales. You need to be motivated and switched on if you are going to succeed. There were also head office visits throughout the 10 weeks which were fantastic to bolster your knowledge and understanding of different functions.
100%, everyone appreciated the work we were doing. Every sale made was additional to what they would've had if it wasn't for you.
Management team provided training in the first week and then set up a social media page to communicate with us regularly. Regional managers would also provide brilliant support weekly.
Very Busy. Early starts and late finished. However this was down to the individual & how far you were required to travel.
In essence you run your own business. You have full responsibility of your results and will not be shadowed throughout.
Hard to tell yet as I have not returned to University. What I can say for sure is that the discipline, organisation & confidence have impacted my life already and linking theory to practice will be a formality.
The Company
This role is out-based, however when we had our head office weeks you can tell that the culture is quite relaxed, with senior managers always happy to spare time for junior employees.
Structured from week 1 through to 10.
We were provided intense training in week 1 and further training at both head office visits.

If there was an opportunity to work with PepsiCo again I would be more than happy to. We are currently waiting on feedback from the management team with job offers to follow.
The Culture
Yes, everyone got on really well.
As this was out-based you would be living at home. I was based in East of England which is relatively cheap.
Again, same as the above. The night life is okay however you wouldn't be going out during the week.
Sadly, as we were out based there were no opportunities. However at head office we would get a chance to play golf, tennis ect before evening events.
