    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Good networking opportunities, decent work experience, friendly colleagues, good canteen

    5/5

  • My colleagues were professional and respectful of summer students.

    4/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Not just my supervisor but other people gave me guidance and work. It's more realistic that way and it allowed me to work with more people and prove myself more.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • The scheme is designed to keep you rather busy but not crazily so. Each person's experience is different though, as I heard, some are really extreme.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The work was at the right level. They do take into account which stage you are at (2nd year, or post LPC, etc..)

    3/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Great exposure to real work and law firm culture. This is no walk in the park though. It's for real and rather hard.

    4/5
