The Role
It was a fantastic experience. There was great support people in my department. Best experience I have had till now.
I was felt extremely valued. I was highly respected and my work was recognised and appreciated.
I was given a lot of support. They gave me feedback constantly. Also if you asked for a feedback session they would arrange it as soon as possible and give a very in-depth and direct feedback.
It depended on the projects I am working on. The work kept me occupied but there was always roam to take some time out for yourself and relax. The team was very supportive and helpful.
I was given a lot of responsibility. I worked on very important projects and I was asked to do some really important parts of projects. I appreciate the level of trust the team put in me.
The training I received was very practical. I used my academic knowledge and applied that during my projects. The analytical skills I learned will be very helpful in my degree and future career.
The Company
The general atmosphere was very relaxed and comforting. Everything was very flexible and I felt motivated as I were with some of the smartest people in the industry and you had all the resources at hand to execute any new ideas.
The internship was very organised with rotations, regular networking events, talks from senior members of the company and had multiple official and unofficial performance review procedures which helped track your progress. I really felt I gained a lot from this internship.
The company invested heavily in my training. We were trained by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable professionals who have worked in the same field. Also regular feedbacks were very direct and I loved them as I knew I can depend completely on what is said in my feedback.
Company Parties/Events
The future employment prospects are very appealing. There is great opportunity to excel and show your calibre. Also if you feel the role is not fit for you then the size of the firm allows you to definitely find a role that is appropriate for you and if you are good and highly motivated, there shouldn't be a problem to achieve any kind of mobility.
