The Role
Varied, some days i was busier than others i rarely felt overly stressed with my worklaod. I think it was difficuilt to give me to many packages over a short time period. The typical working day varied from 8am - 5/6 dependent on how busy i was.
Although i was not imediatley given a lot of responsibility my responsibilty did increase during my placement and at the end i was soley managing my own packages.
The Company
People seem very positive to be working for Costain although i worked on a joint ventrue the general the atmosphere was good and everyone got along.
The placement seemed well set up well, we had lots of contact with head office and set plan of what should be achieved by the end of the placement.
There is plenty of chances to undertake training and development.
I hope to join Costain upon completing my degree, graduates speak fondly about the company and the salary seems above average.
The Culture
There wasnt any other placement students from costain, however there appeared to be a good social scene upon colleauges.
Expensive
It wasnt appealing, hoping to be going out in the next few weeks for my leaving party.
