  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have learnt valuable skills that can be transferred both to future jobs and further education. It's a completely different way of learning and doing things that I have never experienced before and feel that these new skills will prove useful in everyday life!

  • Very! Fingers crossed.

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes- the social scene was more prevalent in departments where there were larger numbers of interns but we made an effort!

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Dinners/socializing was the same as anywhere in London. But Canary Wharf is a lovely place to work and is targeted at the economically active population so all shops are targeted for the employees in the surrounding offices (dry cleaning, parcel pick up etc.)

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • There are plenty of bars etc. in the canary Wharf area which are always buzzing.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There are plenty of clubs within JP Morgan which I would be interested in joining if I were to be offered a place on the graduate scheme.

    3/5
