The Role
Great people, great teams, good networking opportunity.
I was given great work from the word go, treated like one of the team and given great leaving gifts!
Had a very senior mentor, who is a great connection and I learnt a lot from.
Busy, good working hours and not over-burdened either.
I was given my own projects in the first six months and learnt the ropes on the trading floor during my second rotation.
Huge amount of great skills learnt, both for uni (discipline!) and for future work.
The Company
Canary Wharf was very different from the city. Great people in each office but I especially enjoyed the buzz of the trading floor.
Organised well by HR and people in the division.
Had lots of training to begin with, then development days and trips with colleagues to suppliers etc.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Got a job offer ;-)
The Culture
Free bar every two weeks during the summer, and the other grads were great too!
