The Role
Good placement, National Grid inductions could use some updating
My line manager was like an uncle, weekly trips to the pub. Really made me feel like part of the team
He was pretty supportive in my future career. Could use more regular one to one meetings.
Some weeks I'd be rushed off my feet. At the begining and end of my placement I was pretty bored.
A lot! I had to write technical papers for discussion at company board meeting
Presentation & organisation skills have increased!
The Company
A bit quiet and dull on occasion. The odd bit of banter by the office water cooler was fun.
It was very poorly set up, my line manager wasnt there to welcome me. Little contact from HR
Good 5 day trainning session.
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I'm on the sponsored student scheme, high chance of getting on the grad scheme.
The Culture
Yeah, made some mates for life! Took some sorting out though, i set up my own Facebook page.
Pretty high!
Pretty schweeeet!
Yeah, school power... football... sailing club
