The Role
Organization of internship, lots of events, awesome people, lots of challenging technical tasks and unbelievable experience of how financial institution manages business.
First thing to mention is that you will be valued for your passion. If you have that you will do well. You always have a chance to ask question even a silly one.
This is a question of luck. I got really helpful and experienced manager, who was always keen to help and navigate me. One negative side is that during the Summer lots of employees are going for the holiday, and my boss had it in the fist 2 weeks of my internship.
It is again a question of personality. If you asking for more tasks, you will always get them. I had 3 different projects I was working on. And, especially in the middle of my internship, there was no chance to relax. But this is good!
I was working on real projects. 2 of which were kind of research for the later development. Third one was work in the Agile team on real Java web application on production server. So I always had a feeling I am doing something valuable for the company.
I really feel that in 2 months I grown more than in university for 3 years. It was an amazing experience. Additionally to technology I found my interest and passion to investment and business management.
The Company
Very friendly! Everyone is ready to help and just socialise. If person is busy, he will always set up a meeting with you for later.
Organisation of the events, evenings and senior speaker series were absolutely amazing. We had also community help day to work one day away from the office.
Company really treats interns and tries to spend as much effort and money as possible to help them feel part of the organisation.

J.P. Morgan secures full-time graduate place for every intern. And if you showed you passion and desire to learn and work, then you get that offer.
The Culture
Yes. In our office in Glasgow there were more than 50 interns and we had lots of events together and conversations.
Could be cheaper. Especially if consider the fact that it is really hard to find a flat for only 2 months.
Enjoyable. But could be better. During the summer there is no really a lot of interesting nights for the student.
Not really. Have not found any. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved in activities when you become graduate though.
